Privacy Policy

Last updated: 21 May 2026

Your privacy is important to me. It is Tim's Auto Cleaning's policy to respect your privacy regarding any information I may collect from you across my website (https://timsautocleaning.au).

1. Information I Collect

Personal Information:
When you make a booking, I collect the following personal information:

• Full Name
• Email Address
• Phone Number
• Service Address (to perform the cleaning)
• Car Make and Model
• Preferred Service Date and Time
• Optional Marketing Consent (if you choose to opt-in)

Website Usage & Analytics Data:
I use Google Analytics to help me understand how visitors interact with my website (e.g., pages visited, time spent on the site, and general location details). This data is aggregated and anonymised; it does not personally identify you.

Cookies:
Google Analytics uses "cookies"—small text files placed on your device—to collect standard internet log and visitor behavior information.

2. How I Use Your Information

I use the information I collect solely for the purpose of running my business and providing my services to you. This includes:

• Scheduling, confirming, and managing your booking.
• Sending you a confirmation email and any service-related communications.
• Navigating to your location to perform the vehicle cleaning.
• Improving my website structure, performance, and user experience using anonymous traffic data.
• Optionally, sending you promotional offers, discounts, and marketing emails if you choose to opt-in.
• Contacting you if there are any issues or changes regarding your appointment.

3. Data Storage, Security, and Cross-Border Transfers

Your personal information is stored securely within my customer management system, which is powered by Google's Firebase platform.

Because I use Google Analytics and Google Firebase, the anonymised usage data and account backups may be transmitted to and stored on servers located outside of Australia (including the United States). By using this website, you consent to this cross-border transfer. I take all reasonable physical and digital measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.

4. Data Sharing

I do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information to outside third parties. Your information is used exclusively for providing the service you requested.

5. Your Choices & Opt-Out

Marketing Opt-Out:
You have the choice to opt-in to my marketing communications during the booking process. If you have opted-in and wish to unsubscribe, you can do so at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any promotional email I send you, or by contacting me directly.

Analytics Opt-Out:
You can prevent Google Analytics from recognizing you on return visits to this site by disabling cookies in your browser settings, or by installing the official Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

6. Contact Me

If you have any questions about this privacy policy, wish to request access to the data I hold about you, or request the absolute deletion of your information, please contact me at tim@timsautocleaning.au or call 0452 593 568.
